The Newsletter will provide notice of upcoming Family Education, Advocacy & Support meeting providing families with advocacy empowerment navigating the Self-Direction process plus opportunities to connect with other families on the Self-Direction journey. SOYAN has committee opportunities to dive deeper into advocacy for all! Family Membership is for individuals with a developmental disability and their families. Supporters are anyone outside of the individual's family circle (example: community members, teachers, clinicians, direct support professionals, brokers, care managers) who want to know what's going on in the SOYAN sphere.
